Held at the vibrant Fun Fun Event Space in Puchong, this luncheon served as a tantalizing glimpse into the upcoming "Dining With The Queens" buffet dinner, dedicated to honoring mothers.

The highlight of the preview was the dynamic presentations by Legumes’ CEO and co-founder, Ms. Siow Miqi, and Sales Director, Mr. Earon Teh. Miqi eloquently shared the brand’s journey, from its humble beginnings to its current status as a renowned catering powerhouse. She also unveiled the inspiration behind this year’s Mother’s Day event.
Earon took the stage to outline Legumes’ extensive range of services and exciting upcoming projects, including plans to cater to universities and local institutions, along with the introduction of the innovative "Mini Buffet" concept for smaller, more intimate gatherings. He also unveiled the brand’s sleek new logo and assets, reflecting their forward-thinking approach.

The culinary extravaganza continued with engaging cooking demonstrations by COO and co-founder, Mr. Kenneth Chua Wei Xian, and Legumes' Junior Sous Chef, Nur Aufa Athiya Binti Othman. Chef Aufa wowed the audience with a delectable grazing box perfect for intimate gatherings, while Kenneth showcased the beloved local dish, Kong Pao Chicken in Yam Basket, with assistance from Demi Chef, Chef James Ng Wen Jia. These demonstrations not only showcased Legumes’ culinary prowess but also highlighted their dedication to quality and innovation.

Beyond the culinary delights, the event featured a showcase of Legumes' "drop-off catering" service and thematic buffet experiences, including the enchanting "Moonlight Oriental," as well as themes like "Great Gatsby" and "Sunshine."

Guests were treated to various interactive activities, from crafting DIY flower baskets for Mom to participating in a thrilling Mother’s Day-themed word search game. A lively photobooth provided the perfect backdrop for capturing cherished moments, while a social media contest encouraged guests to share their experiences for a chance to win fabulous prizes.
The event culminated in the distribution of prizes, including luxurious vegetable box hampers and coveted tickets to the upcoming "Dining With The Queens" Mother’s Day Dinner buffet. Overall, the preview event showcased Legumes’ commitment to culinary excellence and creating unforgettable experiences for their patrons.

The Dining With The Queens Mother’s Day Dinner buffet takes place from May 10 to 12, also at the Fun Fun Event Space. Guests will be able to choose from an array of delightful Nyonya-themed dishes ranging from poultry to seafood, with appetizers and desserts. Tickets are priced at RM168 per adult and RM88 for ages 4 to 12. Dining is free for children aged 3 years and below.
Besides celebrating mothers, diners will also contribute to a noble cause, with proceeds going to the National Cancer Society of Malaysia (NCSM). Each buffet dinner session also features games and prizes, adding a touch of fun and surprise for the attending mothers.
