Peladang Setiu Agro Resort is located next to the protected forest of Hutan Simpan Gunung Tebu while offering a landscape of beautiful lakes and tropical rainforests. There's a restaurant and an outdoor pool with a waterfall (fake). Activities include jungle and rainforest hikes, cave exploration and obstacle courses, plus river rafting. A campsite is also available.
I first attracted by the chalet in traditional Malay wooden house style by the lakeside.
There are 2 rooms attached together in a chalet, one (with balcony) facing the lake while another facing the garden.
One of the fun things to do here is the flying fox activity. The tower is about the height of 5 stories building.
The staircase to climb up is very steep as the instructor said it's only designed for the participants to climb up.
Bravo to this guy who released both his hands off the rope.
There was a lot of fishes in the lake.
For those with acrophobia, you can play with the manual boat at the lake which will get you to the isolated "island". The boat moved by people pulling the rope attached at one side of the pillar. I was told this was not easy since it's quite heavy.
Another hotspot here is the swing for a photoshoot.
That's my room for a night. It was 2-single beds equipped room with private balcony. The room has WIFI, air conditioner, TV and kettle. Since I need to work on my laptop, I would prefer if they could put in a chair in the room.
I don't know others, but my bedsheet was not that clean. I mean for these 2 beds since I slept alone throughout the night. It was not easy for me to get asleep here as it was quite fearful to sleep alone. Plus someone always trying to open the connecting door from the other room. >.< The next morning when I packed my luggage to check out, only then I saw who's staying next door (they were smoking outside the room). They were 2-3 guys from AIA company who doing the teambuilding here.
One of the things I liked about this room was the serene lake view from my balcony. But the wooden sliding door need to do something as it was too difficult to slide it aside.
That's the exterior of the room I stayed.
