I saw this restaurant was on the list of food recommendation by a FB page. After some search on the Ratatouille, I decided to bring my bf to come over here for his bday dinner. It was indeed confusing from the exterior of the restaurant if we went to the right place since the milk tea advertisement was just placed in front of it.
We reached at 7pm and luckily we managed to find a few empty seats (therefore, we can choose where to sit). There were diners who still visiting the restaurant after 8pm and the seats were all taken. Full house!
There is 2 Ratatouille in OUG. The Ratatouille that we went to was the second branch that was comfortably equipped with air-con. I haven't pay a visit to their first branch which located somewhere not far away from this, but the first restaurant is in open-air style under a big tree.
At first glance, we really thought that Ratatouille, the western restaurant already moved or closed down that replaced with a milk tea shop. LOL
For the first-timer like we both, we spent some time to study where to enter the restaurant since we were not able to spot it at all. At last, this the blue and pink door that looked like a vending machine was actually the door!
The blue flower milk tea that costed RM9.90. The drink in this restaurant is at the range of RM9.90 to 12.90.
My fish and chip cost RM19.
His big plate of pork rib (排骨) cost RM35. After all, he commented, he prefered another restaurant on the same road at the other end, Down to Bones.
The wall on the right-hand side features the owner aka Chef John with various celebrities and also the autographs of Manner 微辣 actors.
I guess the owner is a very creative person as reflected in the restaurant's decoration. The ambience was great and our food was served quite fast too. Our bill that night was RM63.90. Tell me what you think if you visited this restaurant before.
Very bright. Not like those Western cafe, usually dimly lighted.
ReplyDeleteThought you going to have ratatouille. Haha. But the food you ordered looked good.
