Stallone and Bautista Reunited in "Escape Plan: The Extractors"

Escape Plan: The Extractors (also known as Escape Plan 3) is a 2019 American prison action thriller film directed by John Herzfeld, and a sequel to Escape Plan (2013) and Escape Plan 2: Hades (2018). The movie sees the return of Stallone, Dave Bautista, Jaime King and Tyler Jon Olson, while adding in new blood Zhang Jin, Devon Sawa and Malese Jow. 

Similar to the two previous movie series, Stallone stars as a security expert who spends his life studying the prisons design and exploit their weaknesses.

I watched the movie last night with my friends. After watched the special screening, I would say I still prefer the first episode which Stallone being jailed at a high-tech prison inside a big vessel in the sea with unknown location that trying his best to escape. Be sure to watch the first as there are connectivity between the story plot.

The third sequel is not bad too. In this latest sequel, we will see how Stallone works together with Bautista, Zhang Jin to save Malese Jow from the danger with his wit.  The story is about their task in rescuing the kidnapped daughter of a Hong Kong tech mogul. Stallone faces a sadistic foe, who happens to be the son of his former enemy. At the same time, his girlfriend is also being captured in the formidable Latvian prison by his enemy.

For Escape Plan fans, the movie is scheduled to hit the big screen in Malaysia this July 11. Be sure to catch it as this might be the last escape for Stallone!
