Merdeka & Malaysia Day Quayside Fiesta @ Twentyfive.7

In conjunction with Merdeka and Malaysia Day, LAZADA hosted a bazaar to celebrate some of our local brands at the ‘Merdeka & Malaysia Day Quayside Fiesta’. The bazaar was a showcase of unique Malaysian products, including a special feature of handicrafts made by inmates of the Kajang prison under the MyPride program. The Quayside Fiesta not only provided a platform for Malaysians to engage with their local favourite brands but it was also a joint effort between LAZADA, GAMUDA Land, and MDEC to support local businesses and creatives.

The ‘Merdeka & Malaysia Day Quayside Fiesta’ took place at GAMUDA Land’s twentyfive.7 in Kota Kemuning from Saturday to Sunday, 1st-2nd September. In celebration of local flavours, the bazaar brought together hundreds of modern Malaysian creations, from food and crafts to apparel and home and living.

During that day, a lot of activities held to attract the visitors. This include the soap bubbles, animal petting zone for photograph, and etc.

That such a long time I did not play the soap bubbles and had so much fun with it! After all, the equipment was provided for free (of course we need to return after play).

The little sheep was a bit spoiled in this picture. It tried to bite my shirt that day but thanks God, it does not have any sharp teeth. LOL.

This little parrot was not behave as expected. It went to my hand and licked it. The itchiness feeling as I so called the "geli-ness" was indescribable. So I google why they licking us. The answer I got is they use their tongue as hand thus it might showing affection to us! OMG! That's really my first time the bird doing so to me!

Alongside the LAZADA marketplace, the Fiesta featured an Eat Drink KL food market starring imaginative and innovative culinary creations from Malaysia’s F&B scene. The sweet and savoury selection included Bijipops’ twentyfive.7 Malaysia Day Pops, Sundaydotruck’s Insta-worthy homemade cakes, freshly homemade sambal by Aiden Picnic, Aunt Mary’s nyonya delights, Markonah Food & Co.’s mango pulut, and other unique takes on timeless delicacies. Beat the heat with twentyfive.7 refreshing Ice Blended Plum drink concocted specially by local brand Chill Chill and sink your teeth into the exclusive twentyfive.7 Sandwich which is The Sandwich Hub’s creative twist on beef rendang and lamb varuval sandwiches.

Every visitors got a RM10 food voucher upon registration. We redeemed for all these food with the available vouchers on our hand. We did not buy any drinks since Gamuda Land sales office providing for free.

There was a chance to participate in nostalgic traditional games and feel the Malaysian spirit came alive while watching Ola Bola and Hantu Kak Limah at the outdoor cinema after sundown.

For guys interested to invest and buying a house nearby Kota Kemuning, you guys can hop to Twentyfive.7 for a look. They are selling condominium, double storey, super-linked and bungalow. Well, I was astounded with the house design but the price is not cheap at all.
