This was my second visit to the dim sum shop. As the shop is named in Thai without any Chinese words, I had difficulty to find it. After a round of search on Google, finally, I know this shop is known as Khornang. The other famous dim sum around the Hatyai town centre is Chokdee and Ah Ma. Nevertheless, compared with Khornang, Chokdee and Ah Ma is a bit distance away.
You could read my previous post of this shop in here. The price increased a bit to 18 baht. It was only 16 baht back to 2016. It is still cheaper as Ah Ma is selling at 20 baht per plate.
Variety of dim sum choices to choose. The selections include ha gao, siu mai, pao, mixed vege tofu, corn and etc. Each of this only 18 baht.
The concept of dim sum here is different from Malaysia. You have to walk to the front to take whatever dish on the small plate that you would like to have and pass to the staff. They will steam it hot and send to your table.
Somehow when I write this now, I miss the food! 18 baht is around RM2.18 or USD 0.54 for each plate.
Isn't that tempting? The skin wrapping the ha gao (shrimp dumpling) is not thick and there are enough meat fillings inside.
Tofu with mix vegetables as dim sum.... at least as far as I know, we don't have this in Malaysia right?
If not mistaken, this is salted egg with meat :)
