MAZE MALAYSIA 1st Gin Parlour & Coffee Saloon Grand Opening

I was honoured enough to be invited to the grand launch of Maze, the new outlet of renowned M group with dual identity which serving coffee, tea, cakes and high tea sets by day and gin parlour at night!This place is just 5 minutes to 1 Utama.

The place looked grand on that day. I was surprised when they offered complimentary parking every day from 5pm onwards for their guests. The next door CHAZE and the ground floor LOVA also belongs to M Group, all these located at Menara Lien Hoe, Petaling Jaya.

They served free flow of Moet & Chandon champagne, wasn't that kind enough for all the invited guests? When I googled, this champagne costs RM85 or equivalent to USD20 per bottle. I had been to other beer events, they offered an unlimited free flow of beers only. Beer does not cost much than a bottle of champagne. I never thought M&C champagne is that expensive. Thanks for everything :D

She was drunk that night. Her face turned red and hot after 2 glasses of gin and a bottle of champagne. She looked okay overall but when we were going to walk down the staircases to back home, she said she felt dizzy. We let her to rest a while before continued our journey back home. I already told her not to mix the drinks and I tried to control my volume of drink as not to get drunken as I need to drive both of my friends home.

Champagne is always a good company when with a bunch of good friends.

Even though I had 2 other buffet invitations on that day from hotel, but I never regret to attend the grand launch of Maze. Not only free flow of drinks, but also sumptuous food served.

I never thought that gin could be incorporated into ice cream as well. I love their own made ice cream! This is definitely recommended!

The ice cream melted pretty fast. Thus, they only made to order.
