White Sensation Party @ Soju Sunway

How was your past weekend? I hope you had a great time though. Back to the story, I'm going to share the White Sensation party which I attended last week. It was my first time to Soju club. Well, I was truly impressed by the line-up of entertainment which also thrilled the crowd that night.

Bedecked with an all-white décor, the music club at Sunway Resort Hotel & Spa was brimming with invited guests and party-goers who turned up in their best white outfits in accordance with the theme inspired by the worldwide Sensation phenomenon.

 

Dubbed as the party of the year, the exciting affair kicked off with bubbly local band The Mars, followed with powerful sets by Indonesian songstress Satrina, formerly of Crush Crew Project.

Though petite in stature, Satrina was a singer to behold. She dazzled the audience with her fantastic vocals, performing songs from her recently released debut extended play, Kisahku. The powerhouse singer also delivered her hit single Ketakutanku, much to her fans’ delight. 

Accompanying the acts was the N-generation trio from Indonesia who set the stage on fire with sizzling hot dance numbers, captivating the crowd with their svelte moves.

Resident DJs - DVDJ Dnesh, DJ Twister and DJ Dev – spun catchy and infectious dance mixes the night away, prompting party-goers to immediately hit the dance floor.

Eye Candies, a six-member girl group from the Philippines, also effortlessly mesmerised the audience with their tantalising vocals and coordinating dance moves. 

Another showstopper was by the alluring aerial arts and pole dance talents of Viva Vertical Malaysia, who showcased their gravity-defying stunts with much poise and grace. Their impressive feats made it difficult for the audience to look away the entire time. The show was entertaining! The crowds whipped out their smartphones while I kept pressing the camera shuttle to record the incredible stunt.

 

Meanwhile, Canadian band Ovaload rocked the stage with their energy-packed performance. Faithfully keeping to its word of not performing the same kind of show twice, they made the crowd go wild when they launched into their pumped-up rendition of Bon Jovi’s It’s My Life.

As the highlight of the night, special guest DJ Litchi from Russia certainly lived up to her name as the bright and scandalous queen of the dance floor. She churned out an eclectic mix of EDM, house and twerk mash-up tracks to keep the dance floor moving.

Romanian performer Mario, decked out as the Super Soju Robot in his LED-lit costume, provided futuristic entertainment with his incredible guitar act.

The audience was also immersed in stunning laser lighting displays that beautifully illuminated the club’s expansive interior.
