The event was officially launched by Puan Sri Cindy Lim, Deputy Chairman of Pavilion Kuala Lumpur and His Excellency Makio Miyagawa, Ambassador of Japan.
The celebrations continued as Chibi Maruko Chan appeared to greet the excitable audience and partake in a cake-cutting ceremomy.
The Tokyo Street 4th anniversary celebrations runs from 29 July to 9 August. Throughout this period, visitors can visit Tokyo Street to enjoy authentic Japanese games and food. Attractive prizes from Tokyo Street are to be won with RM150 spent at Tokyo Street or RM 300 spent at specialty stores.
