Free and easy backpacker? Clueless where to go? Well, need not to worry much when you are in Penang as there is Penang Hop-On Hop-Off (HOHO) bus in service for continuous circular rides 7 days a week.
Penang HOHO bus offers 2 exciting routes, the city and beach. Both routes together have 33 designated stops and over 50 attractions for visitors. The tour goes by the hop-on hop-off concept whereby the ticket holders can board on and get off the bus whenever and wherever preferred at any bus stop along the route. The HOHO tour provides great flexibility to Penang tourists when visiting Georgetown, a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site.
The operation time of the bus starts from 9am until 8pm.

DeleteUsed to have this HOHO bus in Kuching, initiated by Sarawak Tourism Board but I think it has discontinued. Maybe lack of response or insufficient advertising.
ReplyDeleteNow I know how to travel in Penang. I like free and easy. Less stress and can see more. Thanks for sharing, Emily.
