At the Southernmost Tip of Mainland Asia, in the district of Pontian, Johor lies a veritable ecological haven. Named after the fern that is locally known as 'Paku Piai', Tanjung Piai State Park is home to coastal mangroves and intertidal mudflats.
Tanjung Piai Johor National Park covers and area of over 926 ha, 526 ha of which are coastal mangroves. Its 8km shoreline borders the Straits of Malacca.
The operation hour is as stated above from 9am till 5.30pm. Everyday perhaps :)
The ticket price for Malaysian adult is RM5 and RM20 for foreigner. Children below 6 years old are free of charge. The visitor complex selling various souvenirs like t-shirt, key chains and etc.

The park shelters an extraordinary array of flora and fauna. The forest provides a facade that is at once austere and luxuriant. More than 20 true species of mangroves and 9 mangrove associated species thrive here.
One will not lost in the jungle as there is signboard along the way.
A visit to Tanjung Piai National Park is more than just a walk through natural reserve. The park has facilities and lots of activities designed to cater to individuals or groups wishong to make the most of a visit to a National Park.
