Before we stepped into the house, there is a white signboard clearly states that we are not allowed to take any pictures inside the house. So there is no photos to be shared for the interior part of the house.

This Rumah Terbalik is first of its kind in South East Asia and among the few upside down structures in the world.

Remember the giant gong post I shared previously? Here I saw the gong again! For Dusun and Bajau people, gong is presented as dowry and also being used as door bell. The guide for Rumah Terbalik said we must hit the gong 3 times to alert the host.

The house is equipped with living room, toilet, kitchen and bedrooms. Inside, one will be fascinated with all the things being upside down. The cups, the books, the fans, the air conditioner all being upside down. At some points, I stared to imagine how it looks like in normal way.

Rumah Terbalik |
There's no chance of snapping a picture in the house silently as that's a guide walks beside you. Admire all with your eyes! It only took me around 15 minutes to finish the tour inside the house.

Outside, there is a garage with the car being parked upside down.
