Here comes the third post of my Sarawak tour visit. Previous post covers about the city tour, now comes another different sights of Sarawak. During the three days tour, I had an opportunity to visit Lan E Tuyang Homestay, located at Bau, Sarawak, 45 minutes drive from Kuching city.
这是我的第三篇关于砂劳越的游记。之前的只是写关于城市里的游览,这次带给大家看看砂劳越州的另一面。在这3天游览中,我有机会去到位于Bau,砂拉越的Lan E Tuyang民宿参观。从Kuching市区,这地方需要45分钟车程。
It is a very simple wooden bamboo house, made with natural ingredients, all from nature.
这是个非常简单的木竹屋子,使用全天然的材料所建。
This is called bunga jarau. Made from the wood. When they cut into long tiny sheets, it curls naturally. The indigenous people use it as a decoration in the house.
这东西叫bunga jarau. 用木所制。他们把它切成长长的一条条,它就会自然卷起来。原住民用它作为屋内装饰。

If you like to experience life here, you can opt to stay here for a night. It's a very simple room but clean overall.

Matthew Ngau Jau, Sape player master! I'm so in love with the music he plays with the sape. He is a very talented player. He said he learnt to play sape himself without instructor! If you went Rainforest World Music Festival before, you sure know who is he!

Next, we went to a place for a thanksgiving ceremony.
过后,我们就去到一个地方看他们进行感恩仪式。
While waiting for the ceremony to start, I saw the indigenous people wearing a very special hat. So I get one and try ^^
在等待仪式开始时,我看到一些原住民带着很特别的帽子。所以我就拿来试下戴 ^^

The indigenous people practice animisme. In the old days, they used human's blood as offering now they using animal's blood instead for the thanksgiving ceremony.
原住民相信animisme。在古代的感恩仪式上,他们用人血作为奉献物之一,现在他们用动物的血作为代替。

Before sacrifice the animal, they clean the animal with river water.
在还没有把动物奉献上之前,他们以河水把它给清洗干净。

I was given a can of Tsingtao beer to enjoy during the hot sunny day!
