Lost Paradise Resort is a hidden gem, nestled within 90,000 sq ft of seafront land and surrounded by a huge garden rich with a myriad of tropical trees and flowering plants. Located in Batu Feringgi, Lost Paradise Resort is just
15 mins drive from Georgetown, UNESCO’s Heritage City.
Opened in July 2014, Lost Paradise comprised of 40 suites &
rooms which are designed from a mix of Balinese & Minangkabau
architecture and each room is distinctly themed and stunningly designed.
Most suites face the beautiful blue Andaman sea and are within steps
from the soothing waves.
Each room comes with aircon, LED TV,
private bath, and complimentary WIFI.
The most luxurious room in Lost Paradise Resort is the Royal Family Suite. That is one of the indoor bathroom with transparent door.
Here is another one with different concept. The ladder is for the guests to hang their clothes and not for climbing.
The very humble and friendly owner who greeted and welcomed us with a sincere smile. |
He is Dr Chew, who runs the resort and
Singapore Children Specialist Centre in Penang. Together with his wife,
Melody, they run Lighthouse Academy which is within the resort offering
American homeschooling program for the special children. FYI, revenue
from the resort is channeled to the school's fund.
It is interesting to walk around the building and the lobby as surprises everywhere. From the tile to the table, chair, bed and the decorations, everything is procured by Dr Chew and his wife during traveling. I have to say some of the collections are very unique and I guess it is not cheap.
Complimentary breakfast is avaiable for all guests. The resort serves Malaysian,
Indonesian, Thai, Chinese and Western food.
Guests can enjoy the infinity pool or take a stroll in the tropical garden. For those who like adventure, activities include kayaking, fishing, island tour and hiking activities can be arranged. Moreover, if you need some suggestions, they will have a whole lists of beautiful places you can go which is less reported by the media and less known to the tourists.
